The Bedtime Battle

It was all-out war at around midnight tonight as the housemates prepared for bed in the girls' bedroom.

It all started when Spencer insisted on sleeping in his jeans and Jade wouldn't allow it. Having given him a pair of her shorts to wear because none of his were clean, he pretended to put them on but fell short of actually doing so.

When hassled by Jade, the laid-back contestant declared, "I don't want to wear girls pants!" Jade and Kate then jumped on him, followed by hefty Alison, who piled on top.

Jonny then came into the room and threw Kate onto Ali's bed, but while he was stood there not really looking, she caught him with a mighty swing of her pillow. THWACK! Jonny hit the deck.

War was duly declared and although Jonny initially stayed down, the girls then took-on Spencer in a full-blown pillow fight.

Jonny was soon back on his feet though and pillows were being flailed all over the place, with some ridiculous twin-pillow 'nunchaku' windmill action from the Geordie joker.

It was mayhem for a 10 full minutes as the four chased around the room, watched by an amused Adele and PJ. The girls kept coming back for more and Jade gave as good as she got from Spencer, who didn't hold back with the power of his swings.

At one point, the two girls forced Spencer into retreat. However, he landed on Adele's bed and, just like a dodgy WWF match, was held down by the girls' third team member Adele, prompting him to call out to his team mate for help.

It was an hilarious event, after which everyone was completely knackered and it only really ended when Alison put her foot down, mum-style. There were handshakes all round and PJ, predictably, declared the boys the winners.
