Boogie Night

Jade's 'School Disco' party was a nostalgic affair, with the housemates dressed-up in their uniforms donning skirts, ties, caps, freckles and pigtails. And that was just Jonny! (we're kidding.)

There was playground banter abound for the first ten minutes, from 'my mate really likes you' to 'Miss, someone has been smoking.' There was also talk of the bike sheds of course, or more to the point, what goes on behind them!

Jonny was accused of 'pooing his pants', there was pseudo arguing over the sweeties and the girls were told that they weren't allowed to talk to the boys. It was real Primary School stuff and gave the housemates an opportunity to act their shoe size without Sandy criticising.

Jade's cake was then brought into the lounge and the boys decided to move away from the Primary School level and sing a raunchy version of, "You've lost that living feeling," Top-Gun style, to the already tipsy birthday girl.

With an emotional Jade sat on a chair, PJ finished off a surprisingly accomplished dance move by performing a saucy striptease. He stopped short of going the Full Monty however.

Then, the music blared-out into the lounge, making the group seemingly revert back to the heady days of bad, uncoordinated, over-the-top dancing. The boogying eventually spilled-out in to the garden.

On one side, the lawn had turned into a temporary slide as the housemates launched themselves across the rain-soaked grass. Even normally-reserved Sandy had a go, throwing himself across the lawn and having great fun to boot.

On the other side of the garden, Spencer jumped into the pool fully clothed, followed by several of the others. However, Big Brother soon put the mockers on the fun, by turning 'Headmaster' for the night.

The overseeing power pulled the plug on the music, lectured the housemates on wearing their microphones and sent them to the girls' bedroom.

The party had been well and truly pooped, but things picked-up a little later, when Wham's 'Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go' blared-out into the bedroom and got the party going again.

The night ended early for many of the 'kids,' including Jade, as they'd worn themselves out and were tucked-up in bed by 11.30pm. Aww, bless their cotton socks.

A great day for everyone and a 'coming of age' birthday bash that Jade will never forget.
