Three Way Split

It was with a sense of foreboding that Sandy slowly walked from his solitude in the garden to the lounge where the group were gathered to hear the nomination results.

And the oldest member of the group was right to enter the fray with apprehension - he was nominated for eviction along with Alex and Alison.

Before Big Brother announced the gang's selection, some of the housemates seemed to develop psychic powers. "I bet there'll be three, I can just feel it," Adele declared. Was it intuition? Tealeaves? Either way, the fitness goddess was right.

As Alex's name was mentioned, the controversial contestant commented: "Me? How come."

Alison was identified next, causing a sharp intake of breath from those sitting around the larger-than-life travel rep. Sitting in the lounge afterwards, the extrovert housemate described her emotions simply as "gutted".

And last up was Sandy, who appeared the least surprised about the nomination results. With a big grin on his face, the solitude-loving house member comically explained to everyone what had happened and why.

"Humans are nothing but predictable. Alex fell out with everybody and I don't speak to anybody. It's obvious you were going to vote us out!" he amusingly clarified.

But even the philosophical Sandy was surprised that Alison made up the eviction trio.

Outside in the garden, Alex seemed more upbeat than in recent days following his nomination and approached his fellow nominee with line: "Alison - bet she wasn't ready for that." "F*****g right she wasn't," laughed Sandy. "That was a kick in the nuts for her!"

However, not all housemates were taking the news with such good humour. Blonde Kate burst into tears in the girls' bedroom in the company of Alison, emotionally stating: "I know we've only been here for 11 days, but I love you man. You're wicked."

Alison was only too keen to reassure her upset pal, saying: "I'm not upset about the situation. If I come out, I'll be able to watch you." "There is no way you're getting voted out," IT girl Kate reassured her.

The housemates have until Friday to wait for the eviction results and now it's up to the public to decide which of the three is out.
