It's Nomination Day

Late this afternoon, the 1st nominations 'proper' took place.

On a bit of a 'lazy day,' with Spencer and Jonny not having surfaced until almost 2pm, the contestants soon snapped-out of their lethargy when faced with the reality of the nominations.

Whilst they unpacked the crammed shopping trolleys that Big Bro had left in the store room, the all-powerful one called the housemates to the sofa area, including newcomer Sophie, who was exempt from the process this one time.

Being required to visit the diary room one by one, the contestants would have to give 'adequate' reasons for nominating two fellow housemates.

Persistent, "I'm nominating y, because I get on better with x" type reasons could result in the offender being issued with a 'strike.' Big Brother is looking for frank reasons this year and will not allow the housemates to make 'cop out' nomination statements.

When all ten participating contestants had done the dirty deed, they were told that they'd have to wait until later in the week, to find out which two will face possible eviction this Friday. There were groans all round.

From now on, the eviction process has reverted back to the usual way of doing things: the housemates nominate, but we the public decide who goes by placing our votes.

The identities and voting telephone numbers of the unlucky two, will be announced soon.
