The 1st Live Task Results

Saturday was to be night of the first live task, which was a general knowledge quiz set by the British Quiz Association.

The housemates had to choose to answer questions from one of three categories and they settled on entertainment in the end, despite Sandy rooting for politics as he, "Never watched television".

The group had to answer 7 out of 10 questions correctly, in-order to pass the task and gain their shopping budget. Unlike in previous series' however, they had to wager their whole budget on completing the task and suffer the consequences of being skint if they failed.

Were they to fail, they would've had no money for food and luxuries and also, the hot water was to be cut off for a week. Not that it would have bothered shower-shy Spencer!

The housemates collectively answered 8 questions correctly in a joint-effort, thereby passing the task.Yay, a whopping £400 was now theirs for the spending. They also received a hamper for their success, the contents of which were soon devoured.

The boys wanted to spend half the dosh on booze, but the girls were less keen. Therefore, a compromise looks likely, where they'll spend £200 on food, £100 on alcohol and £10 each on personal luxury items.

The housemates will complete their shopping list for the second time on Sunday morning.
