Indoor Rounders

At around 1am on Day 8, Lynne seemed like a distant memory as the housemates indulged in a fun game of indoor rounders.

Using an improvised bat (rolling pin) and ball (pair of socks), it was a boys vs girls match, with all the remaining girls on one team and all the boys bar Sandy and Alex on the other.

It was a noisy game, but no-one seemed to quite know how to play despite Ali shouting at one point, "Look, we know the rules." Still, how hard could it be to understand? Just hit the ball and run!

The cocky lads thought they were doing really well and each time they got someone out or scored runs, they did American-style 'chest bumps' to each other in celebration.

However, victory was not to be as Spencer, who is not used to moving quickly remember, was caught out by Adele. "I just don't believe that," exclaimed a miffed Spencer, going on to label the girls cheats and witches. Standard 'loser's' banter then!

One nil to the girls.
