To Be Evicted: It's Lynne!
Lynne will leave the Big Brother house later tonight. All
this week, you the public have been voting for who you want
out, and in a brand new twist for 'one week only,' the housemates
themselves had the final say.
It came as a huge shock to the group to find that there'd
be an eviction taking place tonight, especially so soon after
Sunita dramatically quit the house.
When they were informed of Big Brother's sneaky plan, Ali
was first to make comment and said, "That's tough."
Adele wished everyone good luck and Jade frankly declared,
"I'm sh***ing myself." But there was more controversial
news to come.
Davina then told the group who the two nominated contestants
were, building the drama in her usual style. It was Jade and
Lynne, as we at BBO thought it might be.
The two nominees were promptly asked to move one of the bedrooms,
whilst the remaining nine housemates took a vote on who they
wanted to kick out.
They had just 3 minutes in-which to decide and initially
debated whether to discuss it or whether to do the vote by
putting names in hat. Some contestants were keen to just name
their intended evictee straight off, but Alison was adamant
that they should all take a minute to think.
In the end, it was a unanimous decision in favour of keeping
Jade. The reasons given by the individual housemates will
appear in our Nominations section shortly.
Jade burst into hysterics when told the news that fellow
housemate Lynne was for the chop and she continued to cry
for some time after.
However, tough cookie Lynne, when told by some of the housemates
that they thought it was her in tears, disclaimed,
"It would take a lot more than that to make me cry."
The feisty Scot was disappointed and somewhat embarrassed
at being the first person to be evicted though.
Lynne will leave the house during the 10pm show on Channel
4 tonight.
