You Say: "How Do I Get Tickets To The Eviction Nights?"
A growing number of you have been asking us this question,
so we thought we'd better detail the procedure.
Firstly, what many BB fans don't know, is that the tickets
are dished-out Free-of-Charge, but on a 'first come, first
served' basis. Therefore, it is very important for people
understand exactly how it works:
Basically, you can apply for tickets from sole-distributor
Powerhouse, however, even if you get allocated some, you are
NOT guaranteed to get in the audience for the show.
We recently heard from someone who last year, got allocated
a couple of tickets, but in the end they couldn't be bothered
to go. This is exactly why it's standard practice for TV shows
with an audience, to over-invite. In other words, there may
be 1000 audience spaces, but 1200 people will be invited.
Therefore, before you even apply for tickets, please consider
whether you will actually be able to attend - don't take the
opportunity away from someone who desperately wants to be
in the audience.
Also, be prepared to be turned away. Even if you have travelled
from the other side of the world, you will not get-in once
all the spaces have been filled. That's the nature of 'first
come, first served.'
Because of this, we would not advise you to 'buy' tickets
from anyone. The only guaranteed spaces are priority tickets
and they are few-and-far-between this year. Even we struggle
to get any.
That said, look out for our Competitions over the coming
weeks, where you'll be able to win priority tickets courtesy
of Big Brother Online.
So, to apply just fill-out the application form on the Powerhouse
website and someone will get back to you. Remember though,
just because you have requested some, doesn't mean that you've
been allocated any. Also, don't go silly; they are obviously
not going to give 9 tickets to just one person. You would
be better off requesting 2 or 3.
