Big Bro Gets Tough To Keep Series On Schedule?
In previous stories we reported that the new series of Big
Brother in the UK would run for 10 weeks. However, Channel
4 have today confirmed that Big Brother 3 will in-fact be
a 9-week series; exactly the same as the previous two.
This means that the final show should be broadcast in the
last week of July, but how will that work, given that there
are more contestants this time around? Read on...
By our reckoning, there would then be five contestants remaining
in the house at the beginning of the last week, instead of
the usual four. This fits-in well with the theory that producers
wanted to make those final few days 'more interesting.'
However, inside sources have indicated that they're almost
certain someone will fall foul of the new tougher rules.
In other words, it seems that one unlucky housemate is destined
to get the boot, right from the start!
Remember, the housemates are not allowed to talk about ANYTHING
discussed in the diary room, however trivial. Also, they mustnt
come-up with any lame, "I nominated x because I get on
better with y" type reasons. Or, "I nominated x
because I thought they wanted to go home" etc. Big Bro
wants to hear the nitty-gritty or they will get a warning.
So, it looks like the all-knowing power really is
going to put its foot down this time and stamp-out last years
leniency. Aww, spoilsport; we wanted to see the return of
a 'Nasty Nick' character to really spice things up!
Look out for an official announcement on the start date of
Big Brother 3 soon.
