Jade Gets Behind The Wheel For Comic
Relief
She drove us all crazy during the first few days of Big Brother
3, but what's Jade Goody's driving actually like? Here's your
chance to find out, as she takes to the roads to raise money
for charity.
The programme that made a cult figure of abysmally bad driver
Maureen Rees, the 50-something cleaning lady from Cardiff,
is back for a special 'Celebrity' edition in aid of Comic
Relief.
'Comic Relief Does Celebrity Driving School' follows a selection
of celebs as they learn to drive in six brand-spanking new
Focus and 'New Fiesta' cars supplied by Ford.
Participants include Natalie Cassidy, better known as Sonia
from Eastenders, Paul O'Grady aka Lily Savage, singer Gareth
Gates and of course, motor mouth herself, Jade Goody!
At the start of the series Jade, who was window shopping for
BMW's last year, declared that she was "Good at the dodgems"
and thought she'd do quite well. Erm... riiiiight. Her driving
instructor would have to be either very brave or insane!
Unfortunately, Jade failed her theory test the first time
around, answering just half of the 35 questions correctly.
And the second time. However, the intellectually-challenged
'chipstick' soldiered-on with the theory side of things and
finally got behind the wheel.
But, it turns out, 'The Bermondsey Basher' wasn't the most
natural of drivers... Surprised? No, neither were we, funnily
enough!
For a start, she smacked the wing mirror off her instructor's
shiny new car and at one point, drove down the road like she
was playing a video game.
Still, she seemed to be having fun and enjoying herself and
it was all in aid of a good cause, white knuckles on
instructor's hands or not. To check out some RealOne Player
video clips of Jade in action, click

The BBC1 series starts on Monday the 24th of February at 8.30pm
and continues on Friday the 28th, Monday the 3rd of March
and Friday the 7th of March, culminating with the final show
on Red Nose Day, Friday the 14th of March.
Although the shows have already been recorded, no-one knows
if the participants have successfully passed their test or
not, not even the celebs themselves.
So, keep watching and just keep your fingers crossed that
Jade, dubbed a 'nutter' by her instructor Rickie, doesn't
actually get her licence and take to the public roads.
Congestion charge? Just let our Jade get out-and-about behind
the wheel in central London; that's sure to reduce the traffic.
Now, where did I put that bus timetable...?
Just kidding Jadey!
