And The First Celebrity To Enter
The House Will Be...
Okay, so our title is more than a little misleading, but that's
exactly how BB2's Dean and Stuart cheekily put it to us when
pushing their new invention.
Dean O' Loughlin, famous for persistently playing his guitar
throughout Big Brother 2, is something of a dreamer. So much
so, that after years and years of waiting for that 'one big
idea' to pop into his head, he's finally invented something.
So what is this wonderful invention,
we hear you ask? It's the 'Teabagbin', a contraption that
does exactly what it says on the tin!
You see, Deano established that when making a cup of the old
char, the teabags usually end-up creating a mess by either
hanging around the kitchen top and sink, or by dripping across
the floor on their way to the bin (blimey, he must
be bored at the moment!)
But have no fear: Teabagbin to the rescue - a small cylindrical
plastic bin (later to be manufactured in Stainless Steel),
in-which you place your teabags before you recycle or chuck
'em away. It's functional, even if it does look like a dodgy
air purifier.
Initially thought-of as a bit of a joke here at bbo, we're
actually beginning to think this is one of those ideas that
could sell and sell. However we're not totally convinced that
it'll be taken seriously enough if associated with Big Brother.
However, that's exactly the plan, as the Teabagbin will apparently
feature in the Big Brother House during Celeb BB 2 and the
production team even seem to be helping promote it, by allowing
the website URL to be emblazoned across the thing. Hmmm...
double standards, given that contestants aren't allowed to
wear prominent clothing labels etc?
Anyway, Stu's on-board to help Dean promote the thing, using
his business expertise and his, um, legendary way with words.
Ahem!
If we've got nothing better to do, we'll be looking-out for
the Teabagbin during CBB2 and in a tenuous marketing ploy,
Dean and Stuart are asking you to let them know when you spot
