Big Brother 3 Auction Closing Soon
How would you like to get your sticky mitts on some of the
actual gear from the Big Brother 3 house? Well, now is your
last chance to buy some TV history, as the Big Brother Auction
is about to finish shortly.
Ugh? What auction, we hear you ask?
Well, it is true that when Big Brother 3 ended, we said that
Channel 4 weren't doing an auction this year. However, to
cut a long story short, it turns out that a company lent 'tightwad'
Channel 4 a load of stuff for the 3rd series of the show and
then subsequently went bust.
So, the bailiffs descended on the BB House and repossessed
everything outstanding, which they're now selling off... and
it's currently going for a song!
They have loads of stuff available including much of the
cutlery, bedding, sofas and garden furniture used by the 14
contestants for nine weeks last summer - they even have the
superb orangey-red Diary Room Chair.
With the current bidding, the latter is going for well
below what it should be; especially considering that it's
a designer item that would cost 'considerable wedge' to buy
from the manufacturer anyway.
The Diary Room Chair from Big Brother Series-1 sold for £35
'grand, so it looks like someone will get an absolute bargain
this year, by bagging a fantastic piece of furniture with
both history and future collectable value.
Anyway, why not head over to the Auction to see what other
bargains you can pick up? There are plenty of things available
for all budgets, including items from around £10.
There's also some really smart gear that you might not have
noticed during the show, like the illuminated footstools for
instance? And let's not forget the Pebble Duvets as slept-in
by 'skanky Spanky' Spencer (also available 'brand new' in
our Shop).
Or the kitchen bin that grumpy escapee Sandy kindly p***ed
in. The git!
It's quick-and-easy to place your bids - just visit the SIA
Group website, click the link to the 'Big Brother Auction'
section, register and then start bidding.
Good Luck!
