BB4 FAQ's (Frequently Asked Questions) Home NB. This is an OLD page and will not be updated now. Please
view the FAQ's via the Home page link, to make sure that you are viewing
the up-to-date FAQ's. Before you e-mail us, please read through the questions below: (Updated
end of July) Well, obviously another series hasn't actually been announced yet and it won't be for some months. It is very likely though. So, your best bet if you want apply for BB5 in 2004, is to sign-up for our Newsletter and let us keep you informed. Please see our Home page for details and make sure that you let us know if your e-mail address changes before now and Xmas, otherwise we won't be able to get in touch. Just for your information, applications are normally invited at the beginning of December and close in mid-January. 2. Can you please send me 10 tickets to be in the crowd on Eviction night? Oh yes, tickets. Ticket, tickets, tickets. As much as we <sarcasm
alert> really like it when people write to us with their life story,
begging us to give them some tickets, unfortunately we cannot help. We
have no tickets. Tickets, we do not have. Do you see? 3. Where is the Big Brother House located? The current house, the second one used for BB UK, is in the grounds of the world-famous Elstree Studios in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire. There are rumours that another house is being built because the current one causes problems for the people living in the nearby residential area. We'll let you know in the Latest News section when we have some facts. 4. I know BB4 begins on the 23rd of May, but when does it end? I need to know 'cos I'm going on Holiday blah blah blah... Friday the 25th of July, 2003. 5. Is it okay to e-mail you and let you know about errors with the BBO site? Yes, if you must! Seriously, it is really helpful when people write and let us know about problems with the site. 6. I've heard that they're making a version of Big Brother with kids in it. Can I apply? There were two experimental programs last year where a bunch of preteen girls and (separately) boys were filmed as they lived in a house for a while with no adults, Big Brother style. In the end, the boys house particularly, descended into chaos with gangs forming, bullying going on and the place getting totally wrecked. It wasn't that far away from William Golding's 'Lord Of The Flies' and for that reason, we thought they'd never go ahead with a kids BB. However, there is a possibility that one will go ahead, but we've heard that's it's an experimental program and will involve pupils from a couple of schools only. So, unless you hear otherwise, you cannot apply and we will NOT answer any e-mails on the subject. Sorry. The FAQ section will grow as more of the same questions come in after Big Brother 4, so please check back soon. |
