Celebrity Big Brother 2 Betting:
29th November 2002
On the last day of the series, we kind-of realised that we hadn't
backed Mark yet and also that he was pretty-much the favourite with
the fans. So, in the afternoon we staked a week's wages on him winning
in what was definitely our final, final bet of CBB2! At odds
of 2/9, we saw a profit of around £90 when Mark won the series
(plus our stake back, obviously).
(And yes, tantrums would definitely have been thrown in the bbo
office had we lost that particular bet!)
28th November
In what we'd declared was our final bet of the Celebrity series,
we staked £10 on Les to become the outright Winner at decent
odds of 8/1. So, we stood to return £90.
25th November
For our second bet of the series, we staked £30 on Anne Diamond
to be the '2nd person to be evicted'. Our bet was placed at the
odds of 13/8, meaning that we stood to return almost £80 if
the bet paid off. Anne did get evicted the following day
and we got paid out. Woo-hoo!
20th November 2002
Going on an early hunch, we backed Melinda Messenger to win the
show at odds of 3/1. A £20 stake would-have seen a return
of £80 if all had gone well.

Big Brother 3 Betting:
20th July 2002
Kate to Win. £60 staked at odds of 4/5. Returned £108
when she won the series on Friday the 26th July 2002.
14th July
Tim next to go. 2 x £100 stakes at 4/9. Returned almost £290
when he was evicted on 19th July.
7th July
PJ next to go. £100 staked at 2/9. Almost £123 returned
when PJ was evicted on 12th July.
30th June
Adele next to go. £10 staked at 6/1. £70 returned when
she was evicted on 5th July.
23rd June
Sophie next to go. £50 staked at 5/6. Almost £92 returned
when Sophie was evicted on the 28th June.
16th/ 20th June
Alex to Win. £10 staked (our Free £10 bet) at 4/1. Stood
to return £50.
England to Win World Cup (ahem). £20 staked at 4/1. Stood
to return £100.
England to Win/Draw against Brazil, 2-1,1-0,1-1. Three £10
bets, stood to return £110, £70 and £60 respectively.
NO COMMENT on the football result!
9th June 2002
Jade to Win. £10 staked at 16/1. Stood to return £170.
Jonny to Win. £20 staked at 4/1. Stood to return £100.
